Our First Time at COSI...its a science/play place for kids

Sunni May and I took our kids to Cosi one morning so they could have some fun...a few other moms happened to be there as well. Tatum enjoys her little boyfriend Ashton, they get along well as you can see.

The Moment We've All Been Waiting For...Tate's 1st Steps!

Around Fridayish Tatum started showing some interest in walking...we got about 3 quick steps out of her. So today we tried to try again for some progress.

Tatum's walls have been pretty bare since we moved into the new house (and she doesn't share walls with the office), so I finally am getting up some wall decor... I decided the best way to make it match her bedding was to make a patchwork of all the materials GiGi used in her quilt. It was kind of fun trying to recreate material with paint...I used the pearly paint to make the satin, puffy paint for the embroidery, and spraypaint over lace for the lace print pattern, etc. As with every project, Im glad its done :)

We sent our fishy to a cold grave yesterday. He was lookin pretty shabby and wasn't eating and now is finally gone. Good bye Fishy. No more pets for us for a while.
